One Canvas One Soul {the project}

One Canvas One Soul, is an artist project which strives to make the arts excesible to all while redefining what art is one sketch at a time. I strive to create a sense of community while providing online galleries, hosting events, and providing a resource.

Mission

More than my SOUL’s ATTIC

One Canvas One Soul is the convergence of art and humanity on a single canvas. A single student run site, creating a sense of community for artists and non-artists alike. The canvas seeks to remind the masses, that art in its many forms is a great outlet for “high voltage” emotions.

The soul seeks to smear its art across the world expressing awareness for various issues and causes. It unifies the arts while weaving the tapestry of humanity, reminding all beneath it that differences are similarities. All these things flood this ONE soul. The canvas knowing in its many hues that ART is the most expressive way to make a statement.

In the beginning:

This site was originally my soul’s attic–a place to showcase my work, interests and create awareness for hydrocephalus. The site has changed its name a couple times along with its webhost. And despite these challenges and difficulties in getting off the ground it’s safe to say the Canvas is here to stay.

However, art has always been much more than a way to express emotions at any given time. It has been used by many people and in many mediums to rally for support, protest, and inspire. I invite artists to join my community and help me make it grow. I invite you to create in order to advocate awareness for whatever happens to strike a chord with you.

For now I am only one artist who wants to create awareness through her art. I hope you will join me and send suggestions, artwork, etc.

ART, my dear artists is Eternal! Create It, Live It, Breathe It, Share It, Love It!

ONE CANVAS*ONE SOUL*ONE WORLD-WIDE GOAL…
