The Resident Poet & the Canvas Muse
j.ajabad: is the creator and resident poet of the Canvas Poetry blog. Canvas Poetry, is one half of her epic pet project, One Canvas One Soul. Through this blog she strives to share her passion for the written word and to inspire others to pick up the pen. Writing is a little more than a hobby for her, yet she knows that it’s a great emotional release.She would like to see her blog become an inspirational community where writers and artists flock to read and share their work. Although, there are categories that are exclusively her own she does provide seven categories, which are open to submissions.She eagerly looks forward to reading work from her fellow artists and writers. Turn the page for Submission Guidelines!

CATHARSIS: created by the resident poet, it symbolizes the emotions: the good, bad and the ugly. It serves to remind readers, writers, and artists, of the Canvas slogan:
CANVAS=CATHARSIS
Feeling Good?! Express It, Embrace It!!
Feeling Bad?! Express It, Release It!
It’s creepy face also reminds us how deceiving appearances can be. An undertow of thoughts flow beneath the smeared red ink. It will remain here as the reaper of emotions and providing writers seeds to sow. Visit often to watch it evolve and its “journeys”.
